Things I can do.

Boutique Shopping

We have dozens of locally owned shops to choose from. Clothing, jewelry, sporting goods, vintage finds, we have it all.

Historic Sites

Our area is rich in Civil War history and we have several historic sites to explore such as the Polk House, Battlegrounds and Plantation Homes.

Arts

Live Music is huge in this county. You can often hear live music streaming out of places Friday and Saturday evenings on the square. We also have tons of Murals in and around the County to enjoy.

Hunting and Hiking

Weather you like to hunt, hike, bike or canoe. There is so much to do in the area to keep you busy outdoors. And our views are especially splendid in the fall months when the leaves change into vibrant colors.
